We are a friendly & social club, providing varied & scenic runs around the region.
The WAC committee has put a lot of time and attention into how to structure memberships to support both our regular runners, occasional runners, non-running members and those joining us for only a run or two.

VIRTUAL RACES - We noted that many of our members really embraced virtual runs in 2020 and 2021 so now, members can run up to 4 races/year virtually (not including a scheduled virtual event). If you chose to run a race virtually you will still be eligible for championship points but will not have access to race day placing or prizes on the day. Email screenshot/photo proof to timing@wboolathsclub.com

VOLUNTEERING - Our club relies on volunteers for every event to run smoothly and safely. As such, we require every adult member (or their assigned proxy) to volunteer at one event. You can select the event you/your proxy will volunteer at on the membership registration form. and change this from your profile later if your circumstances change.

HANDICAPPING AND TIMING - Our events are conducted using a handicapping system with the aim of allowing athletes of varied ability to compete on a level playing field in a supportive and competitive environment. We use Webscorer for timing our races and posting all results. Check out the pages below for more information on our Handicapping and Timing concepts.
